Loligo Squid Rings has a mild and a subtle sweetness taste with a firm and meaty texture. The meat has an opaque white color. Baseafood offers frozen and tentacles squid raw and clean in excellent condition. Our squid products are individually wrapped portions and packed in a tray. The seasonality varies around May through November. It is wild caught, using the trawling method. There are a variety of cooking methods for squid: baking, frying, grilling, or steaming.

Serving Suggestions:
Squid can be stuffed with chorizo sausages and feta cheese. It can also be used in calamari dishes.

Defrosting:
Defrost before cooking. To defrost product, keep in refrigerator overnight, or place under cold running water.

Safe Handling:
Keep product frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze product.
